4 a What are you eating and drinking? Use the new words you’ve learnt. Try to use numbers and colours as well. You can also use other words you know.

For example: I am eating four orange carrots and two red tomatoes. I am eating three grapes and six red cherries. I am drinking a glass of red lemonade.

Your turn:

What are you eating? I am eating own answer What are you drinking? I am drinking own answer 4 b Finished? Practice the sentences with your neighbour.

One of you asks the questions, the other gives the answers. Then change roles. 4 c Draw a table with the food and drinks on it, using the sentences above.

I know words for food like meat and fish. I can answer the question: ‘What are you eating?’. I can answer the question: ‘What are you drinking?’.
